Monthly Goals Report January 2018
This is my first ever monthly goals report. I hope to keep this going month after month to both hold myself accountable and do I can see the progress I'm making. We often forget to celebrate the small victories.
I started off 2018 by setting goals using the square of life. The four sides of the square are health. wealth, love and self-expression so I set goals in each of those areas. And I detailed how I was going to accomplish those goals. Below are my goals and the results I created for the month of January.
I will easily continue my healthy eating plan and lose the final pounds until I am at my ideal weight by December 31st, 2018.
Result: I lost 3 lbs. in January for a total of 46 lbs since May 1st, 2017.
I continued with my healthy eating plan. I weighed my food at every meal. I didn't snack between meals and I didn't taste my food while I was cooking. I let my husband do that. I didn't eat any sugar, flour, gluten, corn or soy. I also have stopped drinking iced tea, my caffeinated drink of course. That may or may not last. I'm trying to increase the amount of water I drink. I have also weighed myself every week. I have not been writing that down. I probably should.
I will easily optimize my health throughout 2018.
Result: My calcium test and carotid tests were negative.
I took my Vitamin D and Vescepa supplements as directed by my doctor. I was not able to exercise like I need to in January. I was sick and exhausted for three out of the five weeks. I plan to get back on track in February by starting to exercise one day a week. I started reading The Plant Paradox by Dr. Stephen Gundry as one of my twelve Health & Nutrition books for 2018. He promotes eating lectin free. I think the only lectins I'm currently eating are pinto and black beans. I'll know more when I finish the book.
I will easily create a income of 15,000 per month by December 31st, 2018.
Result: I have started my Q1 project my Optimize your Health Workbook.
I've completed a rough draft of my Optimize your Health Workbook. That is my first of three projects scheduled for 2018. I have completed 5 blog posts and 10 videos in the month of January. I have purchased a Thrive Themes membership to make customizing my website easier. I am in the process of setting up my email forms on my website. I have read Dotcom Secrets by Russell Brunson for my January business book. It gives a great overview of how your email systems and sales funnel systems should work. It gave me lots of ideas.
I will easily create an abundance of wealth in my life to share with my friends, family and the world.
Result: No results yet.
I'm working on setting up the structure to deliver emails and products to my people. I haven't made any sales and therefore no money yet. Youtube changed their requirements to monetize your videos, so it will be a while before I see any income from that. I only have one affiliate link set-up at the moment and I haven't seen any sales from that.
I will easily be generous with my family and overcome my miserly tendencies by December 31st, 2018.
Result: My husband and I had a date night.
I've have done my best to be open and visit with my friends and family members. My husband and I planned, scheduled and executed a date night. We went to a new local comedy club. It was wonderful. We laughed and had a great time. I sent my daughter a card. Okay it was an e-card, but it was the thought that counted. Right? I was sick, but I got it done.
I will easily produce written and visual content for myself and to share with the world by December 31st, 2018.
Result: No results yet.
Since this was a goal that I wanted to complete, but not a goal I had to complete this one fell by the wayside in January. I hope to make up for it in February, but I'm not going to stress myself out over it. Art journaling is something I like to do because it's fun and creative. Stress makes it a chore instead of being fun.
Overall I'm very pleased with what I have accomplished in January 2018. It's more than I ever accomplished without having any goals. Real life in the form of colds and flu interfered and I still accomplished much of what was on my list. I call that a WIN!
How are you doing with your 2018 goals? Have you already fallen off the wagon or are you hanging in there and getting stuff done?
Let me know how you are doing in the comments.
Talk to you later!
