As we close 2015 and look towards 2016 it’s time to reflect on what worked and didn’t work in 2015. It’s time to prep for 2016 so we can get all those things we want to do actually done.
As I look back I can see what I did right and what I did wrong.
The right things:
I educated myself by reading books and blogs, listening to podcasts and watching YouTube videos and webinars.
I figured out what I wanted my life to look like and wrote it all down.
I started this blog and posted content consistently.
I consistently filmed YouTube videos.
I recorded any ideas that came to me in a notebook.
I used my planner to plan my weeks.
The wrong things:
I didn’t follow through on all of my goals for the year.
I tried to stuff working on my projects in just a little bit of time each week. Working around everyone else in my family.
I didn’t schedule time each day to work on my projects.
I lost track of my goals and just did what had to be done.
I didn’t post any of the YouTube videos I filmed.
I didn’t track my accomplishments.
I wasn’t as organized as I wanted to be.
I didn’t schedule time for reflection.
Now I am looking back on my year and planning what systems I can put in place to make 2016 the best year yet.
How was your 2015? What are you going to do to make your 2016 the best year yet?
