I’m sure you’ve heard of a vision board, but have you heard of a vision book?
What is a vision book?
A vision book is more in depth and comprehensive than a vision board. A vision book is a tool for long-term goal setting. It’s a place where you can build out your long-term goals and dreams. It’s a physical manifestation of those goals. Something that you can hold in your hands.
How do you build a vision book?
You build a vision book page by page in a journal, sketch book, planner or binder. Instead of having one page with little bits and pieces of your goals like a vision board you have multiple pages to really flesh out your goals and dreams.
What do you include in a vision book?
You include all of the important aspects of your life. Every little thing that you want to include in your life to make you happy. You can make a summary page that is more like a vision board. The pages that follow would be in more detail.
Ideas for vision book pages include:
Your long-term goals.
Your perfect day.
Your daily routines.
Your daily schedule.
Where you want to live.
How you want to make your money.
What type of relationships you want to have.
How you want to practice self-care.
What hobbies you want to pursue.
Where you want to travel.
What type of personal development you want to pursue.
What feelings you want to feel.
What gives you inspiration.
How you will give back to the world.
These are just a few ideas for pages you could create. It’s really up to you. You can create anything you desire. Anything that will give you inspiration to reach your goals. Anything that will make your vision real. Anything that will help you create your personal roadmap to your dreams.
